Creative Village CIC
Creative Village CIC are a not for profit organisation who deliver art based workshops in the Teesside area. Starting in 2013, Directors Lucy Addison and Jess Langford wanted to teach workshops to pass on their love and passion for art and making to as many people as they could, supporting art for all.
They have worked with many individuals, local organisations and charities over the years, helping people to explore their creative journey.
Creative Village offer their workshops both within the community at your venue, or are happy to welcome you into their studio on Stockton High Street. The studio offers a welcoming space for you to learn new skills, create pieces to be proud of, be inspired by everything around you and leave feeling empowered.
Each workshop is bespoke and tailored to meet the needs and abilities of the attendees. They give people an opportunity to have a break from everyday stresses, giving you a space to 'just be' creating a sense of escapism as well as building confidence and self-esteem, improving wellbeing and mental health and reducing social isolation.
Allow art to be used as therapy, experiment, take risks, break the rules, make mistakes, express yourself, enjoy the little things, the happy accidents and most of all have fun!
