Powerchair Football Club - Darlington
Darlington Powerchair Football Club was founded in 2013 in order to give people in the local area an opportunity to play a competitive team sport, in this case Football in Powerchairs. <SEND>
Those that play have either severe disabilities from the effects of diseases or injuries sustained in accidents. The sport is competitive but it's also fun and enables those taking part to make new friends.
There is no discrimination regarding age or gender but players must have the ability to understand and follow coaching instructions, together with enough movement to be able to control a powerchair safely.
Our club is affiliated to the Wheelchair Football Association (WFA) and Durham Football Association.
Our coaches have been through relevant training and have up to date CRB/Disclosure checks.
