Red Balloons
We are a registered charity dedicated to helping build a happier and healthier environment, where mental health can be discussed as openly and as confidently as physical health.
We use Peer Support to offer people a safe space to talk about how they feel whilst combining this with physical activity through Walk and Talk groups.
Our team all have their own lived experience of ill mental health personally or as a carer and have the ability to listen in a non-judgemental way with empathy. They are trained to be supportive, encouraging and motivating.
Our group sessions are completely free and you don't need to book. We offer regular Walk and Talk groups 7 days a week. We can also provide some 1-2-1 sessions, as well as support through our Facebook pages and a messaging service.
We will be looking to expand and offer more group sessions in the near future, across the Tees Valley area, along with different days and times, in order to support as many people as needed.
We are available for local events to help spread the word of what we can offer. We are also open to do talks and sessions within workplaces and organisations, as well as work alongside fellow community groups, in order to assist with mental and physical wellbeing.
