Ropner Park

First opened in 1893, the park is named after the wealthy Victorian ship owner and ship builder Major Robert Ropner, who provided the money needed to establish the park

There's so much to do in this wonderful town park, stroll by the lakeside or along tree-lined avenues and admire the beautiful floral displays. There's a fabulous play area, tennis courts, bowls club and large grassed areas for games and picnics.
