The Emergency Duty Service is part of Social Care and provides an out-of-hours response to emergency situations involving child protection, childcare, mental health and other adult service matters. We provide a contact point for advice and, where necessary, immediate service to individuals and families who are experiencing crisis in their lives. We work closely with other emergency services including Health, Warden Call, Police, Women's Refuges and the Benefits Agency. <SEND>

Bright Sky is a free to download mobile app, launched in partnership with the Vodafone Foundation, providing support and information to anyone who may be in an abusive relationship or those concerned about someone they know.

Kidscape is an anti-bullying and child protection charity who ensure children live in a safe and nurturing environment. <SEND>

The Legal Services Commission (LSC) looks after legal aid in England and Wales. They also ensure people get the information, advice and legal help they need to deal with a wide range of problems. Legal aid helps ensure access to justice by providing high quality advice, information and representation to people who would not otherwise be able to afford it. <SEND>

Women's Aid have launched the #LoveRespect website to support teenage girls at risk of relationship abuse and to challenge myths surrounding the nature of coercive control.

Advocacy is about helping people to speak up for themselves and understand what their rights and entitlements are. An advocate can help you get your views across and give you information on the options available to you.

Purple Rose is a Community organisation whose main aim is to support communities especially asylum seekers and refugees through social activities that help with isolation.

STOMP stands for stopping over medication of people with a learning disability, autism or both with psychotropic medicines. It is a national project involving many different organisations which are helping to stop the over use of these medicines. STOMP is about helping people to stay well and have a good quality of life. <SEND>

Safeguarding children is everyone's responsibility and the Tees Local Safeguarding Children Boards bring together people who work with children and their families to ensure that the safety and welfare of children is at the heart of their work. They lead the work to safeguard children across the region.

The Teeswide Safeguarding Adults Board is a statutory body that works across the four local boroughs, Stockton, Middlesbrough, Hartlepool and Redcar & Cleveland to effectively prevent and respond to adult abuse.

The Children's Hub is the first point of contact for anyone who has a concern about the welfare or safety of a child or young person or thinks they may need extra help and support. When we are contacted, we will listen to what they are being told and the different agencies might share information with each other to try and work out whether we can help. <SEND>
