Breckenbrough is a residential Special School for boys of average and above average ability with a range of learning and behavioural difficulties, including Asperger's Syndrome, Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. It is the only Quaker Foundation Residential Special School in the United Kingdom. <SEND>

The Care to Learn scheme can help students with childcare costs while they study. Students must be aged under 20 at the start of their course.

Education Boutique offer specialised Alternative Provision Tuition tailored for learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, and medical requirements. We understand that each learner's journey is unique, and we're dedicated to supporting those who may face barriers to traditional education due to various reasons like school-based trauma, severe anxiety, Emotional and Behavioural Social Anxiety (EBSA), medical conditions, or mental health concerns. Green Gates Academy is a primary school for pupils ranging from Year 1 to Year 6. Hollybank Trust based in Mirfield, West Yorkshire, is a forward thinking organisation which works to nurture, develop and enrich the lives of children, young people and adults who have complex physical, sensory, communication, learning and health needs. We provide education for children aged 0 -19, children and adult residential services, therapy, healthcare and meaningful adult daytime activities. Our facilities include purpose built residential accommodation for children and adults on our main site and four community homes for adults within West and South Yorkshire. <SEND>

Abbey Hill Academy and Sixth Form is part of Horizons Specialist Academy Trust and is based on Ketton Road adjacent to North Tees Hospital. <SEND>

Hurworth House School is a specialist day school for boys and girls aged seven to 19 years who have complex learning difficulties including behavioural, emotional and social difficulties (BESD) and autistic spectrum disorders (ASD). The young people may also have challenging behaviour as a result of their difficulties.

Kingsley Primary School has 400 pupils and a 39 place nursery. We have received a number of national awards. In October 2000 we built a new Key Stage 1 wing together with nursery, funded by a government grant and the whole school has been refurbished to a very high standard. In our recent OFSTED inspection we were described as an 'good' school. <SEND>
