Bishopton is a Pupil Referral Unit, with high expectations, outstanding levels of progression and is a school which is constantly adapting to meet the ever growing needs of the young people and schools in Stockton-On-Tees. Over the last few years Bishopton has developed and grown to become a place for all learners to grow, learn, achieve and progress. <SEND>
The school offers a safe and secure environment, combining the very best academic and social, emotional and therapeutic interventions. We aim to develop the best educational achievement and progress in all students and re-engage them in a passion for learning.
With 20 years plus experience of education, teaching, learning and assessment, pastoral and behaviour support, SLT, CPD, Positive Handling, SEN and Alternative Provision, Bishopton PRU offers a high quality number of services to schools. We love and celebrate the uniqueness and individuality of children and young people and recognise that sometimes there needs to be a different approach taken to meet the needs of the child - this is where we can help.
