Young Onset Dementia (YOD) is defined as the onset of dementia before the age of 65 years is increasingly recognised as an important clinical and social problem.

Accessing age appropriate information and services for young people with early onset dementia is limited and this has been concluded through our experience of working with this type of dementia.
