I qualified as a social worker in 1996 and have experience in all areas of social care with specialist knowledge in Mental Health and Mental Capacity. I am highly trained in social care and my wealth of experience enables me to provide confidential, professional support and advice.

I have worked as a Principal Social Worker and Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) Lead, influencing, and contributing to national agendas. I have also worked for several universities delivering training, acting as a Practice Educator, Practice Educator Mentor and working as a Social Work Placement Coordinator.

I have a calm, empathetic manner to relate to others and identify significant social care issues, adopting a problem-solving approach.

I provide support in the following areas:

• Social Work Training and Learning- I have designed and deliver a range of topical training and leaning sessions to enhance theoretical learning for qualified social workers and social work students, enabling them to continuously improve professional social work practice
• Social Work Supervision and Support- I provide professional social work supervision, professional support and career advice for qualified social workers and student social workers
• Mental Capacity and Court of Protection Work- I provide Mental capacity assessments and reports for the Court of Protection in a timely manner
• Independent Social Work Advice- I provide independent social work advice and support to individuals and organisations
• Separate Ways Service- I provide practical, confidential, and affordable support and advice to individual who are involved in an arbitrary divorce and/or childcare dispute, minimising the emotional and financial costs for all concerned.
