At Teesside Mind, we provide mental health services and training throughout Middlesbrough, Stockton, Redcar and Cleveland, and Hartlepool. Our services are tailored to circumstance and prioritise the mental wellbeing of individuals, implementing practical strategies and support networks to aid in mental health recovery.
Our social prescribing link workers, based in GP practices, are available to help those struggling with issues such as stress and anxiety, isolation or loneliness. They will identify effective solutions and connect you with practical and emotional community support.
Our Appropriate Adult volunteers' step in to safeguard the rights, wellbeing, and entitlements of vulnerable adults (18 years and older) suspected of criminal activities and detained in police custody. They ensure fair treatment, facilitate engagement during custody procedures and support the detainee.
Through our Advocacy service, you can receive support from an advocate who can help you to express your views and wishes and empower you to uphold your rights effectively. We offer different types of advocacy support depending upon your needs.
Additionally, our trusted and professional teams offer counselling services, support for children, young people and families, workplace wellbeing programmes, carer and dementia support, and much more.
