Stockton and District Advice and Information Service provides free, confidential, independent and impartial advice.


SDAIS aims to:
• ensure individuals do not suffer through lack of knowledge of their rights and responsibilities or, of the services available to them, or through an inability to express their needs effectively
• exercise a responsible influence on the development of social policies and services, both locally and nationally.
SDAIS' team of specially trained volunteers and staff offer help and information for a wide range of problems including:

- Benefits Advice and Tax Advice
- Debt Advice
- Energy Advice
- Employment Advice
- Family Advice
- Health & Social Care Advice
- Immigration Advice
- Legal & Courts Advice
Mental Health Breathing Space
If you are struggling with your mental health and in debt, then Mental Health Breathing Space can help you deal with creditors.
Face-to-Face Drop-In Service
Our face-to-face drop-in diagnostic advice service is available Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm at 22-26 Wellington Square, Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 1RH.
