The Barn Childcare - Day Nursery

The Barn Childcare provides high quality childcare from birth. The setting consists of 5 spacious rooms full of high quality 'natural' resources. In addition to this is a secure garden complete with a mini-beasts motel, sheltered sandpit, mud kitchen, musical corner, chill-out/reading tents, a fairy garden, a fire pit and an outdoor sleeping area. We follow the Scandinavian ethos of forest schooling so the children spend most of their time outdoors in the fresh air whatever the weather. 'The Barn' offers a unique experience with outstanding facilities and staff, focusing on child initiated learning. The Barn has a practitioner with over 22 years' experience in childcare as a level 4 in Autism and Complex needs and a level 4 in children's mental health and wellbeing. All staff are qualified to a minimum Level 3 with additional training in speech, language and SEN. We also have a member of staff who delivers yoga, mindfulness sessions and speech and language interventions.
