Cafe AMALA
Our Fully Funded Pop Up Cafe (supported by Middlesbrough Council, The Allen Lane Foundation and Tees Valley Community Fund) is a place where after class, people can come together for a good chat and free tea, coffee and refreshments.


Cafe AMALA offers older adults and those living with long term health conditions:
- a supportive ear
- comradery and friendship
- signposting to local services
- information on practising safely outside of class
- ways to improve practice
- time to answer questions and offer advice where there would not be time in exercise sessions
- time to develop relationships built in exercise sessions.
- help and support to develop home exercise and meditation/relaxation plans
- free resources and home work-out equipment
- special guest talks
- volunteering opportunities
Cafe AMALA runs on:
- First Monday of the month - after the exercise class at The Rings Community Hub, 39 The Rings, Ingleby Barwick, Stockton-on-Tees, TS17 5LL
- Third Monday of month - after the exercise class at The Glebe Community Centre, Hanover Parade, The Glebe, Norton, Stockton-on-Tees, TS20 1RB
