Getting Together Matters

At Volunteering Matters we believe everyone should have the opportunity to thrive.

We offer a diverse range of volunteer led activities and different levels of support including:

•telephone only service groups to engage those people not yet digitally connected

•activities by post providing quality content and engagement
•quality engagement and learning, for example, creative writing, singing and exercise
•online activities for others to engage with other people and reduce isolation
•opportunities for older people to volunteer and run their own online groups
•weekly classes with trained facilitators to keep older people more mobile and less likely to fall
•we work with social prescribers and GP's across the UK
•we work with local communities to find out how to support their older people getting online
