Granville Lodge is a large Victorian house in a residential area that has been suitably adapted to accommodate the needs of children/young people in a friendly, safe and relaxing atmosphere. The Great North Air Ambulance aircraft cover an area of about 8,000 square miles. We must raise more than £5.3m each year just to keep the service flying. We depend on the members of the communities we serve to support us in delivering our life-saving service. We are hugely grateful and proud of all our volunteers.

Green Gates Academy is a primary school for pupils ranging from Year 1 to Year 6. Pupils attending our school have an Education Health and Care Plan due to their social, emotional and mental health difficulties. Green Lodge provides 24-hour residential and dementia care in the heart of Billingham.

Groundwork NE & Cumbria are currently delivering a programme to address social isolation and loneliness amongst people presenting memory problems (undiagnosed and diagnosed dementia) and their carers in Stockton on Tees. Activities are based around horticulture, green exercise and other activities, encouraging people to connect with nature.
